吴茀之（1900-1977），这位浙派丹青妙手，以笔墨为舟，在传统与现代的激流中开辟出自己的艺术航道。初名士绥，后易名溪，以字行世，别署广明畸士，又号逸道人，每一个名号都仿佛在诉说着他对艺术的执着追求。他尤擅意笔花鸟，那支饱蘸墨色的毛笔在他手中仿佛有了生命，时而轻盈如蝶，时而凝重如山，偶尔也涉猎山水、人物、走兽，皆能自出机杼。

早年，吴昌硕雄浑苍劲的画风如春雨般滋润着他的艺术萌芽。而后，他广采博取，将徐渭的奔放、石涛的奇崛、李鱓的清新熔于一炉，最终锻造出丰润郁勃、婀娜多姿的独特风格。他的画作不是简单的笔墨游戏，而是将深厚的画史修养与独到见解化作纸上烟云。

眼前这组劫后余生的写生册页，承载着特殊的历史记忆。在那个文化寒冬的年代，吴先生以艺术家的勇气守护着这些即将凋零的花鸟，如同守护着最后的春天。七十年代初的春节，他将这些幸存之作精心编集成册，让后人得以一睹那个特殊年代里倔强绽放的艺术之花。
